Open Studios Berwick-upon-Tweed

I’m taking part in the Berwick Open Studios event this year. You will be able to visit my studio and many others around Berwick, Tweedmouth and Spittal on one or both weekends of 26/27 September and 3/4 October.

Go to the Create Berwick website to download a map of the venues and to find out more about the exhibiting artists. You can collect a printed copy of the map from places around Berwick that promote the arts, including the Berwick Visitor centre on Walkergate. I have a few printed copies so please get in touch if you would like one.

I will be exhibiting both paintings and embroideries. Many of the exhibits are for sale, and in addition, I will have a few more affordable handmade items (pincushions and brooches) for sale. In addition, I will be selling appliqué packs; these contain a selection of interesting fabrics, threads,, trimmings, beads and buttons that you can use (assisted by the enclosed instructions) to make your own textile art pieces.

On both weekends my friend Jill Spence will be with me, exhibiting her paintings. If we have any spare time we will be demonstrating how we create our painting/embroidery pieces.
